Sicily is an island full of life and there’s always an event, an opera performance, a festival or a concert worth going to.
Nightlife is very active in Sicily all year around.
The options for a night out are really endless: from Pubs to Restaurants, from Theaters to Jazz Clubs, Cafes, Bars, Discos, etc. etc.
In Sicily we Love life and Cultural activities are definitely a big part of our daily appreciation.
The most popular centres of nightlife in Sicily are considered to be Taormina, Catania, Palermo and some resorts in the provinces of Trapani and Agrigento.
Taormina is the “bohemian capital” of Sicily.
The clubs here are very famous and we also get a lot of international celebrities who come to have fun.
They especially come in the middle of June because that is the time when the annual Taormina Film Festival is held.
You can find the heart of the nightlife in the small streets and squares around the historical centre or in the squares, like Corso Umberto, Piazza Duomo, and Piazza 9 Aprile.
Popular places to go out in the area are:
The pub “Il Re di Bastoni” where people come to listen to good (sometimes live) music and chat while watching people strolling about on the Corso Umberto;
The Daiquiri lounge bar with the best cocktails in the town;

The Sottosopra, a Burger club with great live Jazz and Rock Music.
